Our roofs are now fully equipped with hundreds of solar panels that annually generate a large portion of our energy consumption. The generated solar power is directly used for our business processes — from office lighting to powering machinery in gravel recycling and tank storage. We intelligently store surplus energy in batteries or feed it back into the grid.
Several charging stations have been installed on the premises, allowing both our own fleet and visitors to charge their electric vehicles. This way, we stimulate the transition to emission-free transport, a key focus within our sustainability strategy.
To make optimal use of our solar energy, we have installed a battery system. This allows us to store generated energy and deploy it when the sun is not shining. This makes us less dependent on the electricity grid and ensures a stable, sustainable energy supply — day and night.
