The pourable molasses contains more fructose and less glucose than beet or cane molasses, resulting in a stronger sweetening power. Apple molasses contains malic acid, which promotes better rumen fermentation.
Apple molasses can also be used in the preservation of silage as a nutrient source for lactic acid bacteria.
